The Eventuri intake system for the Porsche 991 Turbo was developed based on extensive real-world testing to enable the turbines to operate more efficiently. Replacing the single factory housing with two patented Venturi housings allowed the turbines to operate and generate boost with less load. As a result, wastegate valve opening cycles are reduced, leading to maximum boost at lower engine speeds - and this translates into better performance. The use of two filters instead of one panel filter insert increases the filtering surface. Additionally, to keep intake air temperatures low, the Venturi housings have a tight connection to the intake duct, drawing air from the same source as the factory equivalent. Because the 991 Turbo's engine bay is tightly packed, the only way to keep intake air temperatures low is to use a closed-loop design. The combination of a smoother airflow path to each turbine and low intake air temperatures generates better performance and quicker throttle response compared to the stock configuration.
Eventuri advantage The Eventuri kit for the Porsche 911 Turbo has patented carbon housings and specially developed 2nd generation filters, which guarantee an aerodynamically effective air flow path from the filter to the turbine. This is not just another cone filter with a cover, but a unique design that uses the Venturi effect and maintains a layered airflow to reduce the load on the turbine.
The intake was road tested using a Vbox to record acceleration times of 60-130 mph. The tests were carried out on the same road section on the same day to ensure uniform conditions. The results show that just installing the intake - without software modifications - reduced acceleration times from 60-130 mp/h by 0.2 seconds, which is a significant improvement at these speeds.

The gains achieved are the result of several factors: 1) Two separate Venturi housings distribute the airflow to each turbine, allowing them to operate more efficiently. 2) The Venturi housing ensures a smooth transition from the filter to the intake pipe while maintaining the laminar (layered) nature of the air stream. 3) Intake air temperatures are kept to a minimum by using a tight design that prevents hot air from being drawn from the engine compartment.
The Eventuri intake system for the 991 Turbo consists of several elements that fulfill precisely defined functions and are manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards. Below you will find descriptions of individual components and an explanation of their operation.
Each intake system consists of the following components: • 2 x carbon Venturi housing with integrated pipe • 2 x 2nd generation high-flow filter • 2 x aluminum flange • carbon air intake • laser cut stainless steel handles
FILTER HOUSING The set consists of specially developed second-generation filters, aluminum inlet flanges, carbon shells and integrated pipes. The shells house reverse-mounted filters and smoothly shape the airflow into the factory turbine inlets. Separating the intake channels and using a separate filter for each turbine allows them to function more efficiently. What is very important, Venturi housings have an organic shape, gently flowing from the filter opening to the factory turbine pipe. This ensures that the airflow throughout the entire system is as smooth as possible. Unobstructed flow reduces load, so the turbines generate maximum boost at lower revs. Additionally, throttle performance is improved
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY Eventuri's patented filter housings have a gently decreasing diameter between the filter and the turbine inlet. This geometry induces the Venturi effect, which involves accelerating the flow while maintaining the layered nature of the air stream. The housing design resembles a trumpet-shaped intake pipe (velocity stack).
INLET CHANNEL The intake duct connects to the lower surface of the trunk lid using a factory rubber gasket, and on the other hand it fits tightly to each filter housing. The duct is made entirely of prepreg carbon fiber and draws cold air from outside the vehicle, not hot air from the engine compartment. To maintain maximum flow, the design smoothly transitions between a single inlet on the flap and two round holes in the filter housings. There are also two drainage pipes that drain water so that it does not get into the filters. Their design allows a small amount of air from the engine compartment to enter due to the high flow resistance compared to the opening at the top of the duct. The complex geometry of the duct structure was dictated by the need to bypass various components in the engine compartment of the Porsche 991 Turbo.
HANDLES Laser cut stainless steel handles are powder coated. Eventuri engineers have put considerable effort into ensuring a perfect fit using factory mounting points. The brackets not only secure the intake to the chassis, but also allow engine components to be safely positioned just like the factory intake system. To reduce weight, each handle has cutouts that remove unnecessary material while maintaining the appropriate stiffness of the entire structure.
The kit provides a clearly noticeable improvement in performance compared to the factory equivalent.
