Description:

The Eventuri Turbo Tube Intake Pipe for the Mercedes A35 Hybrid has been developed to provide the turbocharger with significantly less restrictive airflow compared to the stock intake duct.

Eventuri designers increased the internal volume of the tube and completely eliminated the corrugated, flexible section on the side of the air filter housing. The use of a fully rigid pipe along the entire length - from the intake system to the turbocharger - ensures smoother air flow, thanks to which the flow remains more laminar (layered).

To compensate for engine movements during operation, the Eventuri intake system uses the so-called a floating tube structure that can move freely inside the airbox.

The geometry of the carbon pipe on the turbocharger side was optimized using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation, which allowed to reduce the formation of turbulence.

The connection to the turbocharger is made using an innovative silicone connector equipped with an internal thermal break, separating the carbon pipe from the hot turbocharger housing and limiting heat transfer.

The numerous vent connections located on the back of the pipe are integrated in a precisely CNC machined block, which also provides a perfectly smooth internal surface, promoting unobstructed air flow.

Construction:

The Eventuri Turbo Inlet Tube is made of prepreg carbon fiber, ensuring very high stiffness, low weight and excellent workmanship. The whole is complemented by components designed for maximum efficiency and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Note: The intake pipe is only intended to work with the Eventuri intake system.
