WHY IS IT WORTH IT?
The RacingLine Stage 3+ one-piece carbon-ceramic brake set takes braking technology to a level that has not previously been available for vehicles on the MQB platform
The kit was tested for over a year by RacingLine engineers before it was released on the market. Effect? Spectacular resistance to reduced braking effectiveness, incredible weight reduction and many years of durability and strength.
Rotors with a diameter of 355mm/380mm are constructed of interwoven, discontinuous carbon fiber, creating a three-dimensional, multidirectional matrix. This results in lower weight, more effective operation and longer durability compared to traditional steel brakes.
The three-fold increased heat capacity guarantees exceptional and repeatable braking efficiency. No set of metal rotors can give such effects.
Despite its sporty properties, the set is ideal for everyday driving and ensures effective braking even with cold discs.
Forged one-piece clamps provide high stiffness and low weight. They are made from ultra-strong, forged billet aluminum, milled using a complex 5-axis CNC process.
Despite their size, the discs weigh almost half as much as much smaller factory steel counterparts. That's a big difference in unsprung weight.
LOWER WEIGHT
Rotors with a diameter of 355mm/380mm are constructed of interwoven, discontinuous carbon fiber, creating a three-dimensional, multidirectional matrix. This resulted in lower weight - only 55% of the weight of the factory steel rotors despite their larger dimensions.
PADS DEDICATED TO CARBON-CERAMIC DISCS
Because ceramic brakes have completely different friction and thermal properties, RacingLine engineers have developed a special mixture of pads dedicated to this type of material.
FLOATING STRUCTURE
Full floating mounting between the disc and the bell eliminates the risk of cracking and bending of the material in the event of expansion and contraction due to temperature changes. The special design of the handles eliminates rattling.
ONE-PIECE CLAMP
A forged, one-piece 6-piston caliper with a low-profile aluminum construction guarantees stiffness and low weight, and fits inside the rim without any major problems.
MOUNTING KIT
Everything you need for assembly: carbon-ceramic discs, calipers, handles, ceramic pads, braided steel cables. And optional hub adapters for increased clearance from the rim. Screw it on and hit the road!
DEDICATED TO VWG
The RacingLine set was created for Volkswagen Group vehicles on the MQB platform, so the piston sizes perfectly match the brake master cylinder and power steering system to ensure a perfect, progressive response to pressing the brake pedal.
TESTS, TESTS
More than a year of testing has opened everyone's eyes. After fifty brakings from a speed of 260 km/h to a complete stop, the discs became red hot, but remained fully functional.

PRECISION ENGINEERING FOR PERFECT PERFORMANCE
Each caliper is created from a single billet of ultra-strong forged aluminum, which is then milled using a 5-axis process. The special carbon-ceramic material used in the pads ensures a uniform response to pressing the brake pedal - both when the discs are completely cold and when they become intensely warm during competitive track driving.
Drilled carbon-ceramic discs provide three times greater heat conduction than ordinary discs.
The fully floating mounting between the disc and the bell allows it to expand and contract freely without the risk of cracks.
Significant reduction in unsprung weight: 5.7 kg for each disc instead of 10.4 kg for small factory equivalents.

*Installation of the Stage 3+ brake kit on the Audi RS3 TFSI 2.5 Sportback/Sedan and TTRS requires the use of washers between the bearing housing/support and the caliper yoke to center the disc between the pad surfaces - otherwise the caliper and rotor/disc may be damaged. We recommend consulting your dealer before purchasing.

HUB ADAPTERS FOR A PERFECT FIT
RacingLine brake kits have a unique design that allows the installation of 5 mm adapters on the disc face. The adapters move the rim outwards, providing more space for the brakes.
